Electric Quadrifoiler 

Still under development, the video shows ongoing work regarding the control of a quadrifoiler boat. In order to improve lift/drag efficiency, and to further save power, hydrofoils are all horizontal. Active control is therefore required to keep pitch, roll and altitude to desired set points. The prototype is built on a simple bodyboard, with 4 actuated custom carbon legs and foils. The Engine is a 1.4kW brushless motor, powered by means of a 36V NiMH battery pack thru a VESC controller.
